Fuerteventura

On Fuerteventura, you will find an ideal environment that enables you to completely enjoy cycling ion the sun and getting ready for the summer season.

The constant temperatures of about 25 degrees and the well kept roads with little car traffic are just a couple of the things that will make your cycling experience unforgettable.

You'll be supported by Go Pedal for each day's riding before relaxing at night in 4* accommodation in Las Playitas, specially chosen to support your cycling and recovery.

What's included

• We'll keep in touch with you on the build up to the ride and invite you to a WhatsApp (or similar) group so you can find out more about who you will be riding with and share stories of preparations.
• If you prefer to rent a bike rather than bringing your own we'll deal with all of the arrangements for bike rental on your behalf. Our island partner rents full carbon bikes for approximately £15 per day. We'll arrange for a bike that is set up to match your own and even tell you how to measure yours if needed.
• We'll meet you at Fuertevetura Airport on the 7th March for the 40 minute transfer to our hotel.
• 5 nights accommodation, bed and breakfast rate, sharing (twin rooms) at the the fabulous Playitas Hotel in Las Playitas to the south of the island  (https://www.playitas.net/en). All our guests will stay in Twin Ocean View rooms, offering ocean views from a terrace or balcony, these rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar and en suite bathroom. As well as being wonderful accommodation with everything you'd expect, the hotel caters for sports visitors and has plentiful facilities on site from doctors to a bike shop as well as specialist nutrition options - some facilities may come as an additional cost which is not included.
• All four days of riding are fully supported with mechanical and nutritional support and support vehicle. We'll meet you at stops for gels, water and hydration tablets from the van and our CYTech trained mechanic will be on hand for breakdowns.
• We'll be taking photos of you throughout the rides even from the air using a drone. If it all becomes too much, the support vehicle is on hand as a broom wagon.
• When it's all over we'll return you to Fuerteventura airport for flights home.

Other stuff to know

• Transfers from Fuerteventura airport will take place throughout the day - where we can, we will we hang on for a few more guests rather than immediately setting off but we won't keep you waiting too long.
• A limited number of 7 day places are available to make this a full week for arrivals on 5th March 2022. These will be self supported but Go Pedal will be on the island if help is needed. Book early if interested.
• Mechanical support is for basic roadside repairs. We carry a full toolkit and spares. Spares are based on fair usage.
• We carry a range of gels and hydration tablets, again based on fair usage.
